RFP for the GRB assessment of three ministries in Jordan
In response to calls from gender equality advocates for increased accountability for implementation of gender equality commitments in economic policies and financing decisions related to aid and domestic resources, UN Women will be implementing the programme Increasing Accountability in Financing for Gender Equality (2012-2015) funded by the EU and Spain.

Request for Proposal (RFP)
The Iraq - Public Sector Modernisation programme (I-PSM), a multi-agency UN joint programme, supports the Government of Iraq and the regional Government of Kurdistan to develop an effective, efficient, and responsive public sector through an administration-wide reform strategy and pilot implementation in three key service sectors: of Health, Education and Water & Sanitation (WATSAN) As part of this programme UNWomen will work with the regional government of Kurdistan to implement Gender Responsive Budgeting in Kurdistan in order to ensure that the needs and the interests of individuals from different social groups are addressed. The implementation of GRB in the Kurdistan Regional budget will help ensure that government commitments towards removing gender inequities in terms of the provision of essential social and economic services are achieved. Gender Responsive Budgeting will also ensure that the government policy of mainstreaming gender issues within regional policies and programmes is working effectively and made feasible. UNWOMEN emphasize that Gender Responsive Budgeting is a process that will need time, effort and a proper implementation plan, such an action plan will include a series of technical training and capacity building for targeted staff in the concerned ministries in addition to technical support to the Ministry of Finance and line Ministries to support the finalisation of the GRB plan of action...
